Il volume e un’ antologia della fotografia di strada che, unendo le immagini piu iconiche e rappresentative e spaziando dagli anni Settanta fino ai giorni nostri, mostra l’evoluzione e lo spirito della strada e della fotografia urbana attraverso la visione sia dei grandi maestri della fotografia che delle generazioni piu giovani.

 

Il libro mostra il lavoro di artisti capaci di ispirare e provocare, il cui punto di vista ci riporta ad un sistema di cultura indipendente, lo stesso che definisce l’estetica della casa editrice DRAGO e del blog KITTESENCULA.

Il libro include il lavoro di Larry Clark, Boogie, Ed Templeton, Glen E. Friedman, JR, Estevan Oriol, Martha Cooper, Jamel Shabazz, Bruce Davidson, Jim Goldberg, Mary Ellen Mark, Bruce Gilden, Ryan McGinley, Hugh Holland, Jill Freedman, C.R. Stecyk, Dash Snow, Bruce LaBruce, Ivory Serra, Bruce Davidson e Olivia Bee.

 

Solo alcuni tra i centoquaranta fotografi inseriti. Curato dall’editore di DRAGO Paulo Lucas von Vacano, il volume unisce anche i testi di Miss Rosen, editore di fotografia New Yorkese e specialista in libri fotografici, e di Ethel Seno, project manager e coordinatore curatoriale al MOCA di Los Angeles.
